About the Project

The client design choice was very clear since the early start of the project and its implementation straight forward respecting the original layout of the house which, even if unusual, is very simple and functional. The main feature of the all design concept is the light as several roof lights and skylights have been fitted on the roof to let the light flow from top to bottom floor through the stairwell. An important detail, which has made really contemporary that Victorian house, is the new solid oak staircase which has a full glass balustrade bringing the roof light to flow into the entrance hall before entering the most spacious and bright kitchen/dining area at the rear.
